HomeOur cabinets vs theirsBefore and after picturesCabinet detailsHow we work

When we start a cabinet job we follow these general steps:

  • We will measure your existing kitchen and find out what you would like in a new kitchen.
  • Initial design work takes about a week and you will be presented a 3D model of your kitchen for approval or changes.
    • It usually takes about 3 visits to get the design done
  • Sign a contract listing the scope of the kitchen and pay a deposit.
  • Wait
    • Building the cabinets in my shop takes a few weeks.

 A note about the wait:

We don't work like trim carpenters do.  We build your cabinets in our shop to exact measurments and standards.  If you decide on paint grade cabinets, we will build the doors in our shop using our state-of-the-art CNC milling machine.  If you get stain grade we will order your doors from one of many manufacturers we regularly use and this can take a week or more.

The longest part of the wait is finishing the cabinets.  This can take as long as 2 weeks! We take great pride in the quality of our work and the materials we use. Unlike others in this area, we don't use wall paint to finish your cabinets, we use pre-catalized lacquers for lifelong wear.

  • Installation and adjustment.
